The energy that is stored in the high voltage or traction battery, will now be charged with either AC – Alternating Current or DC – Direct current. You can get 80% of the charging capacity restored in 30 minutes when using the DC charging, wish is a lot quicker than the AC charging. We stock the Type 2 electric vehicle charges cables for the Volkswagen e-Up, in two lengths; 5m cable length and 10m cable lengths. This charging cable won't charge faster than the max. charging capacity that the car can handle, which is 3.7kW.
